Ciao, I'm Stefania Gambella
most of my photographs start from small details, the kind most people walk past. Once I catch them, they begin to tell a story. Some I stumble into, if I happen to be there at the right moment. Others I've carried for a long time, and to let them out I use artificial intelligence like a door.
On the other side there are impossible animals, rooms too big for the houses that hold them, guests who only sit down when no one has invited them. I slip them into everyday things and finally let them live.
The rest of the time I work in digital communication, where I work with images and words. I write a newsletter and make small fanzines: words arrive when the images aren't enough, images when the words fall short.
